BRS leader and former Minister T. Harish Rao urged the state government on Sunday to accelerate the process of merging the State Road Transport Corporation (RTC) with the government by announcing the long-awaited 'Appointment Day'. The Congress Party had also promised to finish the merger process during the Assembly polls, he wrote in an open letter to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
